Gary Michael Thompson

Mr. Gary Michael Thompson, 62, of Little Brier Creek Church Rd., Warrenton, Georgia entered into rest October 12, 2020 at University Hospital.

Gary was a lifelong resident of Warren County, Georgia and the son of the late J. H. Thompson and the late Rebecca Kennedy Thompson. He was a 1976 graduate of Briarwood Academy. Gary worked on the family's farm, Thompson Brother's Dairy many years. In most recent years he was a heavy equipment operator for Seller's Construction.

He enjoyed fishing, sitting on the front porch, wood working and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Melinda Johnson Thompson; daughter, Hannah Thompson (Hunter Futch) ; sister Vickie Dunham (John); and nephews, Jason Dunham (Heather), Jonathan Dunham, and great nephew, Abe Dunham.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Little Brier Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Henry Johnson and Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating. Intermnet will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Bill Whitaker, Joey Mullis, Trey Franks, Jamie Smith, Robert Johnson, Mark Chalker and Gene Sherrer.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
