Gary "David" Broon, 60, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on November 19, 2023.

David was born in Augusta, Georgia, on September 3, 1963, and grew up in Thomson, Georgia.  He enjoyed yardwork, fishing, riding his bicycle, spending time outdoors, and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Austin Broon and stepfather, George Key.  David's survivors include his mother, Frances Key; his sisters, Kimberly Webb (Jim) and Cynthia "Cindy" Smith; numerous nieces and nephews and his best friend, David Morris.

Visitation will be held at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia, on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  David's Funeral Service will follow in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
