Charles "Gary" Adams, 72, Dearing, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on June 21, 2024.

Gary was born in Dearing, Georgia on September 6, 1951, grew up in McDuffie County and lived his entire life here.  He retired from Jefferson Energy after over 25 years of service.  Gary was Baptist by faith, enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved his dogs "Buddy" and "Red" and spending time with them and especially loved spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Adams and Doris Swint Adams and his sister, Linda Murray.  His survivors include his Best Friend and Companion of 17 years, Karen N. Stewart; his stepson, James Stewart; his sister, Ann Reeves, of Martinez; his brother-in-law, Larry Murray; two nephews and two nieces.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia.  His Graveside Service will be held at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, 2235 Washington Road, Thomson, Georgia on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
