Frank Thomas Tankersley, Sr.

Frank Thomas Tankersley, Sr., 78, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on February 6, 2025.

He was born in Thomson, Georgia on August 29, 1946, grew up in Thomson and has lived his life in Thomson.  Frank was Baptist by faith and a member of Grace Baptist Church of Warrenton.  He was a carpenter by trade, loved working with his hands and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, J. H. Tankersley and Effie Clara Tankersley; his brother, James "Buddy" Tankersley and his sister, Dot Tankersley Whitener.  His survivors include his sons, Frank Tankersley, Jr. (Juli) and James Edward Tankersley (Deana); his brother, Billy Tankersley (Wanda); his sister, Mary Dunaway; two grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

His visitation will be held at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Frank's Graveside Service, being officiated by Bro. Jesse Bowen, will be held at Westview Cemetery, Thomson, Georgia at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation.
