Frances Lampp
Thomson, GA, GA- Mrs. Frances Beckworth Lampp, 82, of Earle Street entered into rest September 29, 2014 at University Hospital. She was the beloved widow of William (Dick) Lampp.
Mrs. Lampp was born in Glascock County, GA and lived in McDuffie County for over 60 years. She was the daughter of the late Hubert Beckworth and the late Mollie Sammons Beckworth. Mrs. Lampp worked at Thomson Company, Garland Knitting Mills and retired from Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Ft. Gordon. She was a member of the Euphrates Baptist Church, Edge Hill.
Survivors include her son, David Lampp and wife, Leslie; daughter, Dianne L. Butler and husband, Perry all of Warrenton; brother, Joe Beckworth of Gibson; sisters, Mayne Keller of Thomson and Linda Fields of Newnan; grandchildren, Timmy Lampp and wife, Megan, Hunter Lampp, Brandi Spiva and husband, Chad and great grandchildren, Lillie Lampp and Jaina Spiva.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lampp was preceded in death by brothers, Lonzie Beckworth and George Beckworth.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m, Thursday, October 2, 2014 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Clanton officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call the residence of David and Leslie Lampp, 185 Wagon Wheel Rd., Warrenton, GA or the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
