Frances (Mcgahee) Griffith

Frances V. Griffith of Covington, Georgia (formerly of Norwood, GA) passed away peacefully on March 9, 2013. She was born in Dearing, GA April 14, 1918. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, George Clifford Griffith and son, Benjamin (Benny) McGahee. She is survived by her sisters Betty Dye of Gray, GA, Doris Garner of Harlem, GA, Beth Bays of  Sandy Springs, GA,  daughter Margaret Barrett (Robert) of Covington, GA, grandson, David Evans (Fran) of Thomson, GA and great grandchildren, Avery and Savanna Evans of Evans, GA, Bella Evans of Thomson, GA, Jenny Crouch (Mike) of Thomson, GA, Carla McGahee of Augusta, GA and Aidan, Kallan, Callan and Austin Whittle of Thomson, GA. She was a Jehovah's Witness.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the Scruggs Cemetery, Norwood, GA with Elder Clay Rabon offiictaing.
