Frances Irene (Eisenhour) Hawk

Mrs. Frances Irene Eisenhour Hawk, 96 of Grovetown, Ga. entered into rest on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at her residence.

Frances, or as most knew her as "Nana," was the pride of her mother, Mollie Boyd and her daddy, Fred Eisenhour. She was also famously known as "The Belle of the Ball."

She was not just the Matriarch of our family, but also The Majorette; the biggest and loudest cheerleader for everyone. She had no problem calling us "to attention…1-2-3-4."   She was special to everyone she encountered whether it was a trip to the nail salon for a fill and set, going to Fresh Market for Pimento Cheese and Crusty Bread, or roaming the aisles of various Augusta Mall stores to buy outfits for her loved ones.

Nana leaves behind her beloved daughter, Paula Rountree (Bob) of Evans, GA; her best buddy and grandson, Nicholas Scott Rountree (Allen Bonds) of Charleston, SC; granddaughter, Tara Wood (Garrett) of Augusta, GA; and her bonus grandchild and caretaker for the last few years, Christopher R. Dunivan (and his furry four-legged love of Nana's, Duke).

She is predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mollie Eisenhour; her beloved husband, Reuben "RuRu" Hawk; and her siblings, Fred Eisenhour Jr., Lady Marie, and Helen.

She loved her family and her nieces and nephews with all her heart. She loved lounging by her pool on Bourne Place, doting over her family, cooking and entertaining, and being pretty much a bad ass person in all she did.  She was always on the phone and cooking, and making all that had the opportunity to know her happy.

The family would also like to acknowledge the love that was provided to her in recent years from Hospice Care, especially her nurse Dallas, Ms. Lena, and Chaplain Cliff.

Funeral Services will be held at First Assembly of God in Lincolnton, GA with  Reverend Terry Bonds presiding on Saturday morning, September 20, 2025 at 11 o'clock.  Burial will be held privately for the family at Westover Memorial Cemetery.
