Frances F. Brown Thomson, GA. - Mrs. Frances F. Brown, 83, of Central Rd. entered into rest May 4, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late William Addison Brown. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2012 at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Barnes officiating. Mrs. Brown was born in Lincoln County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late F.M. Florence and the late Rosa Lee Norman Florence. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. Mrs. Brown was also a member of First United Methodist Church, Thomson. Survivors include: daughters, Karyn Strickler and husband, Steve of Thomson, Elaine Newsome of Dearing; sister, Patsy James of Thomson; grandchildren, Shae Newsome Virgil, Jessica Newsome, Amy McCord and husband, Chris, Ashley Dent and wife, Karen; and great grandchildren, Addison McCord, Hayden McCord, Ethan Dent and Emory Dent. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 8, Thomson, GA 30824.
