Mr. Lawrence G. "Larry" Pruett, Jr., 61 of Thomson Hwy., died Saturday, April 7th at East Georgia Medical Center, Statesboro. A memorial service will be held Sat., April 14th at 11 a.m. in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, Thomson with Rev. Paul Reviere officiating. Mr. Pruett, a native of Youngstown, Ohio had been an employee of TRW, and Club Car until he became disabled in 1997. He was a volunteer for Coulmbia County Food Bank, CASA and volunteered in the area DFACS agencies. Survivors: Wife: Debra Sizemore Pruett Step-son: Peter Turnell, N. Augusta, SC Grand-daughter: Lauren Turnell Brother: Ralph Ruffner and wife, Beverly of Dillon, SC Sisters: Pattie Tucker and husband, Buddy of Blythe Barbara Sebay and husband, Phil of Richmond Hill Vicki O'Brien and husband, Craig of Appling Numerous Nieces and Nephews Memorials may be made to The Masters Closet, local food banks, and other charities.
