Mr. Joseph Paul Delfino, 81, of Evans, died Saturday, September 1, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012 at First Assembly of God Church in Lincolnton. Mr. Delfino was born in Chicago, Illinois and was a self-employed marketing salesman. He was a member of the Elks Lodge # 205, Italian American Club, and First Assembly of God in Lincolnton. Survivors include his wife W. Ruth Delfino; sons, Eugene John Delfino, James Delfino, and John Delfino; daughters, Jackie Johns, JoAnn Smith, Jeanette Delfino, Judy Dominico, Joyce Gardner, and Jaime Delfino; stepson, Michael Gaylord; stepdaughter, Annette Jones; along with 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Matthew Delfino. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 - 5:00p.m. and from 7:00 - 9:00p.m. at the funeral home.
