Mr. Gregory Adam Phillips, 36, of Augusta entered into rest at Doctors Hospital on December 13, 2012. A native of Wilkes County, he had previously lived both in Washington and North Augusta before moving to Augusta three years ago. Mr. Phillips was a Customer Sales Representative with Electrolux Appliances where he also involved in Work Force Management with the company. A graduate of Washington-Wilkes High School, he attended Augusta College and later received further technical school training. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church but had been attending New Hope Worship Center. His mother, Emma Angelia Phillips, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Celcilia K. Phillips of Augusta, his father, Richard Phillips & wife, Brenda, of Washington, a sister, Rebecca Norton of Eatonton, a step-sister, Stephanie Haynes of Augusta, and a step-brother, Steve Currie of Greensboro, NC, along with several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2:00pm at Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
