Mr. Mason M. Wideman, 90 of Hwy 378 W. entered into rest on Wednesday, Dec.19th at his residence. Mr. Wideman, son of the late Herbert and Selma Wideman wasa lifelong resident of McCormick. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and retired from Milliken Mills as a carpenter. Survivors: Wife: Rosa Lee Pollard Wideman Children: Jeanette Gatlin and husband, Lester of Barnwell, SC Maurice Carter and wife, Judy of Lancaster, SC Freddie Carter and wife, Sue of McCormick, SC Brother: Thomas Wideman, McCormick, SC Mr Wideman's body was cremated and the family plans to have a private service at later date.
