Mr. Alvin Eugene "Gene" Lamar Washington, GA Mr. Alvin Euguene "Gene" Lamar , 79 of Lexington Rd., died Friday, October 19, 2012 at Trinity Hospital in Augusta. Mr. Lamar was a lifelong resident of Wilkes County and a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Memory Lane Cruisers Auto Club. Survivors include his wife, Sarah M. Lamar; a daughter, Debbie L. Danner & husband, Randy of Tignall; two sons, Alvin Eugene "Al" Lamar & wife, Elena of Thomson and Benjamin Cade "Ben" Lamar & wife Kathie of Washington; along with eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
