Evelyn June Ellis Thomson, GA - Mrs. Evelyn June Ellis, 55, entered into rest September 24, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Whitfield officiating. Mrs. Ellis was born in Indiana and lived in Thomson, Georgia for the past 25 years. She was faithful and devoted to doing volunteer work. She always wanted to help everyone else instead of getting herself help. She was the strongest of us all in everything she done. Evelyn was the woman everyone called when they needed to talk or needed help at the VFW Post of Harlem. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Ellis; son, Audie Ray Perkins, Jr.; daughters, Laura Pickering, Tina Perkins; sisters, Belinda McMullen, and Rita Waters; grandchildren, Ronald Burch, Jr., Courtney Pickering, Michael Stroup, Dylan Pickering, Allyssa McTier, Natalie Perkins and Nathan Perkins. The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
