Mrs. Etheridge Milford Partridge, 89, of Partridgetown Road entered into rest Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Lake Crossing Health Care in Appling.

Mrs. Partridge was born in Columbia County but had lived most of her life here.  She was a homemaker and an active member of New Hope Baptist Church where she was a member of the Women's Missionary Union, the Mattie Lou Bonner Sunday School Class, a former member of the church choir, and a former worker in the children's Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin E. Partridge.

Survivors include five sons: Kenneth Edward Partridge, Robert Lee Partridge & wife, Patty, Clarence Irvin Partridge & wife, Jan, Roger Dale Partridge & wife Frankie, and Timothy Wade Partridge & wife, Debra all of Lincolnton; a daughter, Rachel P. Pharr & husband, Jerrel of Washington; a sister, Gladys Coykendall, Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren: Jerry Pharr, Lee Partridge, Darren Pharr, Lisa P. Johns, Stephanie P. Jordan, Leah Partridge, Mel Partridge, Scott Partridge, Terry Lambert, and Melanie Kay Franklin; along with twenty great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Paul C. Reviere officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. and in the church fellowship hall from 1:00pm until the hour of the service.
