Ernest "Doc" Bevin Wilkerson

Thomson, Georgia – Mr. Ernest Bevin Wilkerson, 69, of Magnolia Drive, Thomson, GA entered into rest August 8, 2020.

"Doc" was born in Glascock County, GA to the late Clinton Wilkerson and the late Mattie Bland Wilkerson. He grew up in Warren County, GA and began his truck driving career at an early age of 18. Driving for Castleberry Foods, Kimberly Clark and Westinghouse for many years inspired him to start his own company WW Transport. "Doc" enjoyed NASCAR and hanging at  Love's Truck Stop.

Survivors include his daughter, Beverly Webb ( David) of Winterhaven, FL; sister, Belva Reese (Larry) of Martinez, GA and niece and caregiver, Amy Cosby (George) of Thomson, GA .

A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the funeral home.

Per CDC requirements the family will be observing social distancing and masks are requested. Due to the current national health concern, the family would appreciate all phone calls, cards, texts, and e-mails.
