Thomson, GA- Mrs. Emily Simons Neal, 75, of Ridge Ave. entered into rest March 17, 2014.
Mrs. Neal was born in Greene County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late John David Simons and the late Monteen Wray Hunt and the late T. B. Hunt. She moved to Thomson in 1967 and worked as a garment inspector with Thomson Company, Garland and retired from Chardan Ltd. Mrs. Neal also enjoyed working with children at Smallworld and Briarwood Academy. She was a member of Thomson Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 58 years, Bobby Neal; sons, David Ladd Neal, Eddie Neal and wife, Pamela; grandson, Christian Neal; nephew, Ted Neal and wife, Nelda; additional family, Joey Clark and family, Jennifer Ison and many loving friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
