Ellen Holloway Tankersley

Mrs. Tankersley, wife of the late Charles O. Tankersley and daughter of the late Henry M. and Jessie Burns Holloway, had lived in the Double Branches Community most of her life. She was retired from the Lincoln County School System in school food nutrition. A faithful member of Double Branches Baptist Church, Mrs. Tankersley was a member of the Adult Choir, WMU and actively served on numerous committees. She loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her siblings, children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, H.M. Holloway. Grandchildren: Brad Tankersley, Jason Ford, Jeff and Kelly Ford, Sue Ellen Tankersley, Jenny Tankersley, Daniel Tankersley, Ross and Abby Tankersley, and Samantha Tankersley
