Elizabeth Gibson Weaver Augusta, Georgia - Mrs. Elizabeth Gibson Weaver, 81, entered into rest November 5, 2012 at Trinity Hospital. She was the wife of the late Eugene Weaver. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2012, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Weaver was born in Great Falls, SC and was a resident of St. Johns Tower for many years. She was the daughter of the late Alvin B. Gibson and the late Sallie Melton Gibson. Mrs. Weaver was a retired Resident Manager and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Rev. Darrell Weaver and wife, Wanda of Midville, GA., James Michael Weaver and wife, Sharon of Burke, VA; daughter, Sarah Lynn Weaver of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, James Grady Gibson and wife, Evelyn of Gastonia, NC.; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild. Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her son, Marshall Weaver; brothers, Marion Eugene Gibson and Robert Jackson Gibson. Friends may call at the home of Stephen and Ruth Weaver, 620 Hillcrest Street, Harlem, GA. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the funeral home.
