Elizabeth "Liz" (Tollison) Broome

Mrs. Carrie Elizabeth  "Liz" Broome, 78 , wife of the late Gene Broome entered into rest on Saturday, November 23 ^rd at University Hospital , Augusta.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 27 ^th at 2 o'clock p.m. at Greenwood Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincoln County with Rev. Paul C. Reviere officiating.

Mrs. Broome, a native of Sparta, TN. had lived in the Augusta area over 30 years. She was retired as a nutrition assistant from the Columbia County School System. Her husband, Gene Broome and son, Neal Farris both preceded her in death.

She will greatly missed by her family which includes:

Sons: Derrick Farris, Augusta

Michael Farris, Martinez

Daughter: Sharon McKagen, Augusta

Brothers: Danny Tollison, and Frank Tollison

Sister: Carolyn Kay

Grandchildren:Loren Farris, Kristina Farris, Heather Farris, Carter Farris, Matthew McKagen, and Katie McKagen
