Camak, Georgia- Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Smith, 75, entered into rest December 11, 2017.
Mrs. Smith was born in Glascock County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin Hobbs and the late Pearl Davis Hobbs. She lived most of her life in Warren County, GA, was a bus driver for the Warren County School system for 29 years prior to retirement and was a member of Camak Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was predeceased by brothers, Lee Hobbs and Lester Hobbs; and sisters, Nora Russell, Bobbie Whitaker, Doris Sleister, and Janette Perdue.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 56 years, Jammie Smith, Sr. and sons, Joseph "Joey" Smith and Jammie Smith, Jr.; brothers, Barton Hobbs and Davis Hobbs of Stapleton, GA; sisters, Iris King, Marian June Widener, Weslyn McGee, and Betty Jo Hobbs; grandchildren, Ali Holley and Gerry Fuller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Camak Baptist Church with the Reverends Bryant Neal and Jimmy Richardson and Brother Jimmy Waller officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the funeral home.
