Elaine Marie Uldin Bruntz, 88, Thomson, entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2024.
Elaine was born in South Bend, Indiana on September 30, 1935, and she married her late husband, Richard Bruntz in 1956. Elaine had two sons, Craig Bruntz, born in 1957 and Kent Bruntz, born in 1962. She moved to Georgia in 1970 after living one year in Rhode Island and Thomson has been her home for 54 years. Elaine and her husband loved to travel with family and friends every year to some place new. She received her Director's License in 1973 to run a preschool and owned and operated "Small World Dayschool" for 30 years as the director. She touched many lives in Thomson through "Small World". She was a founding member of Second Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, played the piano and sang in the choir for over 40 years. Elaine truly loved her Lord and loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Bruntz's is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eugene Bruntz; her parents, Howard F. Uldin and Marie Rodgers Uldin and her sister, Julie Cooper. Her survivors include her children, Craig Bruntz (Tammie) and Kent Bruntz (Susan); her grandchildren, Nichole Bruntz Jackson (Brian), Tyler Bruntz, Lauren Bruntz Creswell (Trey) and Erin Bruntz Meyer (Wesley) and her great grandchildren, Payton Jackson, Caden Jackson, Leland Creswell, Southern Meyer and one on the way.
The family is having a private Graveside service in her memory.
