Thomson, Georgia- Mrs. Elaine Burnette Black, 58, entered into rest November 28, 2016.

Mrs. Black was born in Radford, Virginia to the late Jesse and Betty Jo Dudley Burnette.  She was employed by Reeves Construction for 26 years as an Administrative Assistant.  Mrs. Black was a member of Second Chance Independent Church.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 38 years, Robert Black; son, Noah Black;  daughter, Renee Black; sisters, Debbie Williford of Gibson, GA and Kathy West of Fernandina Beach, FL; granddaughter, Stephanie Black; and great grandchild, Aubree Peek.

A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Second Chance Independent Church with Rev. Charles Reese officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the funeral home.
