Mr. James Edward Crook, 77 of Chamberlain Ferry Rd., died Saturday, June 30th . Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 2nd at 11 a.m. at Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Mr. Crook was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County, a retired logger and had been employed by Augusta Iron and Steel . He was a member of Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church. His parents, Lynn and Lizzie Bell Crook; sister, Gail Armour and brother; J.L. Crook all preceded him in death. Survivors: Wife: Velma Ledbetter Crook 4 Step- daughters: Nina Boatright, Joyce Smith, Anita Plue, and Anne Walls 6 grandchildren 3 Great- grandchildren
