Dearing, GA- Mrs. Edna Murphy, 70, of Church Street entered into rest July 3, 2013.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Second Chance Independent Church with Rev. Charles Reese officiating.

Mrs. Murphy was born in Warrenton, Georgia to the late Leonard Lamar Cooper and the late Vera Agnes May Murphy. She was retired as dietician from Thomson Health and Rehabilitation after many years of service. Mrs. Murphy was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Marion Thomas "Tommy" Murphy of Dearing and sister, Iona Fouch of Thomson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
