E. Harold Holloway

Mr. Ernest Harold "Happy" Holloway, 84 of the Double Branches Community of Lincolnton entered into rest on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Double Branches Baptist Church with Rev. Ficklen Guin officiating. Volunteer firefighters will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Holloway, son of the late Ernest Milton and Sudie Pearl Reese Holloway, was born on December 29, 1935. He retired from the Iron Workers Local 709 in Augusta and was one of the founding members and former chief of the Martin's Crossroads Fire Department. His interests were hunting, fishing, photography, and talking with his friends.

He is survived  by his sisters, Lou Berry and husband Sammy and Sue Ford  and husband Bill all of Graniteville, SC; nieces and nephews, Dennis Berry, Keith Ford, Susan Wallace and husband Michael; great- nieces and nephews, Katelyn Hughes and husband Anthony, Sarah Ashley Wallace and River Hughes; cousin Mickey Cliatt and caregiver Mary Anne Matthews and husband Randall.
