Life Legacy

Born in Washburn, ND to Gottlieb and Mary Goetz Schacher, Mr. Schacher had been employed with Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent for 41 years until retiring to Savannah Lakes Village for the past 13 years. He was an avid golfer, a member of Friends of the McCormick Library and worked with Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Schacher is survived by his wife of 55 years, Suzanne; his sons Jeff and wife Traci; Kurt and wife Steacy; and Tim and wife, Debbie; his brothers Harry Schacher and Ronald Schacher; his sister, Estell Schacher; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
