Dorothy Ruth Moss

Thomson, GA – Dorothy Ruth Moss, 82, entered into rest on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Ms. Moss was born in Sunfield, Illinois to the late William and Ruth Draege.  She was an employee of Western Hill Country Club and made many friends during her career.  She enjoyed a good game of bowling and was also very active in her church, First United Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Dreage and sister, Wilma Smith. Survivors include her sons, Lyle Draege, Randall Moss and Steven Moss (Cindi); two brothers, Ronald Draege and Ralph Draege; nieces and nephews; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday evening, January 11, 2024 at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, GA, with Pastor Mark Maddox officiating.

A time of Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

If so desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  If sending floral arrangements, please consider silk arrangements due to Ms. Moss being conveyed to Tamoroa, IL for burial.
