Dorothy Bentley

Mrs. Dorothy Bentley, 95, wife of the late Harold L. Bentley,  formerly of the Woodlawn Community, entered into rest at Harper's Personal Care Home, Washington on Wednesday, September 17 ^th which was the 23 ^rd anniversary of her husband's death.

Mrs. Bentley, daughter of the late C.G.  Sr. and Minnie Matthews Bentley, was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County.  She retired from Oxford Manufacturing and was a faithful member and worker at Salem Baptist Church for more than 70 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Harold L. Bentley, grandson, Chris Bentley, daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Bentley, and siblings, C.G. Bentley, Jr., and Claudine Foreman.

Lewis Bentley, Lincolnton

21 Great- grandchildren

Jane Justice, Washington, Ga.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of the funeral at the church on Saturday.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20th at 2:30 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
