MRS DOROTHY BARBEE of Arabi, Georgia, 86 and a resident of Warrenton Health and Rehab Warrenton GA was called home August 21, 2010. Dot as she was known was a kind lady and never met a stranger. Ms Dot was a faithful member of the Arabi Methodist Church. She was considered the Matriarch of the family and until her declining health enjoyed filling that capacity. The Love of her life Husband, George Barbee, her youngest daughter Linda Youngblood and Granddaughter Rhonda Posey preceded her in death. Left to Cherish her memories are Daughters Carolyn Keene (Milt) Thomson GA, Kathryn (aka) Bonnie Posey, Columbus GA. Brother Julius Wright (Hazel) Jonesboro GA, Sisters Margaret Bruce, Appomattox, VA and Gloria Faircloth of Byron GA, Grandsons Gary Posey, Randy Posey, Columbus GA, Brian Youngblood Thomson GA and Jeff Youngblood Cordele GA. Many Nieces, Nephews and close friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Beggs Funeral Home Thomson GA is coordinating with Rainey Funeral Home of Cordele Georgia. Burial will be in Arabi, Georgia.
