Mrs. Dorthea S. Oubre, 91, of Augusta, GA entered into rest March 22, 2017.

Mrs. Oubre was born in Berlin, Germany to the late Hans and Gertrude Schwiesow. She lived in Augusta, GA most of her life and was an office manager for many years. Mrs. Oubre was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Werner Schwiesow who was MIA during World War II; her husband, Otis J. Oubre and a son, Lynn Michael Oubre.

Survivors include her daughter, Ramona Bidlack (Ron); son, Raymond Oubre (Candy) all of Thomson, GA; grandchildren, Donald Braswell, Sabrina Mink, Melissa Pender, Holly Oubre, Haley Oubre and great grandchildren, Amber Mink, David Pender and Matthew Braswell.

Funeral services will be held cryptside at 2 o'clock, p.m., Friday, March 24, 2017 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown with Rev. Larron Pilgrim officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
