Doris Elaine Wade Homemaker Thomson, Ga. - Doris Elaine Wade, 55 of Pecan Avenue entered into rest June 7, 2010 at MCG. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Widener officiating. Mrs. Wade, daughter of the late Willie Wade and the late Louise Bell Wade, was born in Richmond County, Georgia but had lived in Thomson most of her life. She was a homemaker and attended Faith Baptist Church in Thomson, Georgia. She is survived by her children, James Matthew Strickland, Tommy Story, Jr. and April McCoy all of Thomson; brothers, Matthew Wade of Gibson and Jeff Wade of Thomson; sisters Nancy Stewart and Diane Elizabeth Wade of Thomson, Blanche Pritchard of Waycross, Annette Martin of Augusta, and Esther Timmerman of Harlem; four grandchildren, ex-husband and best friend Tommy Story, Sr. of Thomson.
