Doris Helen Howell Dunham

Mitchell, GA – Mrs. Doris Helen Howell Dunham, 91, of County Line Road Mitchell, Georgia, entered into rest July 14, 2020 at University Hospital Augusta.

Mrs. Dunham was a resident of Warren and Glascock Counties, born to the late Radford and Beulah Howell.  She was a homemaker and a member of Long Creek Baptist Church.  Doris loved to cook and invite her family over for dinners.  Mrs. Dunham was predeceased by her parents, husband Ira Dunham; brothers, Odell Howell, Lamar Howell, Ray Howell and Cleon Howell; sisters, Emma Kate Howell Chapman and Hazel Howell Thomas.

Survivors include two sons, Tommy Dunham and John Dunham (Vickie); daughter, Frances Johnson (James); grandchildren, Jeanne Landrum (Tim), Tammy Haire (Larry), Jason Dunham (Heather), and Jonathan Dunham; great-grandchildren, Courtney Landrum, Morgan Landrum, and Joshua Abraham Dunham.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2020, in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Gibson with Pastor Chris Wasson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2020 at the funeral home.
