Thomson, GA-Mrs. Doris Hyman Hall, entered into rest January 14, 2015 at University Hospital.
Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Bernard Hyman and the late Mae Carr Hyman. She grew up in Warren County, Georgia but lived in Thomson most of her life. She was retired as owner and operator of Millie's Florist. Mrs. Hall was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Jim Hall and wife, Dianne of Thomson, Georgia; daughter, Christy H. Ferguson and husband, Alex of Norwood, Georgia; sister-in-law, Wanda Hyman of Thomson, Georgia; grandchildren, Brad Ferguson (Anna Harris), Misty Kasic (Drew) and great grandchildren, Savannah Kasic and Andie Kasic. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Hall and brother, Edward Hyman.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Sweetwater Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Garvin and Rev. J. B. Redd officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Ray Rooks, Rex Allen, Mike Ferguson, Bobby Newsome, Chad Smith, Cane Gilmer, Doug Dent, Freddy Arrington, Willis Stanley and Steve Cooper.
It is the family's request that memorial contributions be made to the Sweetwater Baptist Church Renovation Fund, 1606 Wrens Hwy., Thomson, Georgia 30824.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
