Doris Davis

Mrs. Doris Maynard Davis, wife of the late William C. Davis, died Feb. 6 at Kentwood Nursing Home, Augusta. She was 88. Graveside services will be held Friday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Bishop Cullen Hicks officiating. Mrs. Davis, daughter of the late William and Eva Maynard, was a native of Calhoun Falls but had lived in Lincoln County most of her life.. She was a member of Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors: Daughters: Vivian D. Hanks, and Juanita Angerine Stewart, both of Lincolnton Willene D. Norman, Tignall Sons: Clyde Davis, Tignall; Claude Davvis, Curtis Davis, Perry Dale Davis, and B.L. Davis, all of Lincolnton 10 Grandchildren 11 Great- grandchildren 1 Great- great grandchild The family wishes to thank the staff of Kentwood Nursing Home for their care.
