Dollie Story

Mrs. Dollie Holton Story, 81, of Fort Creek Rd. entered into rest August 17, 2017 at University Hospital.

Mrs. Story was born in Louisville, GA to the late Charlie Lanier Holton and the late Mary Ethel Amerson Holton. She grew up in Davisboro, GA, but lived in McDuffie County most of her life. She was a devoted homemaker and she was a Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Story was predeceased by her husband, Samuel L. Story and great grandchild, Michael Dingus, III.

Survivors include her children, Shirley Story, Carl Story (Teresa) all of Harlem, GA, Peggy Dingus and Donna Bussell (Ronnie) all of Thomson, GA, Sharon McCorkle

(Travis) of Dearing, GA; brothers, Ray Holton (Shirley), Jerry Holton (Peggy) all of Gainesville, GA, Calvin Holton (Eugenia) and Carolyn Bache all of McIntyre, GA; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Garvin officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the residence of Ronnie and Donna Bussell, 1348 Moose Club Rd., Thomson, GA or from 1 until 3 p.m., Sunday prior to the service.
