Dewey Mann Jennings

Mr. Dewey Mann Jennings, 88, resident of McCormick, South Carolina, widower of Betty Deason Jennings died Wednesday, March 1 , 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Columbia, South Carolina December 22 , 1928, he was a son of the late Veldee Herman and Nellie Mann Jennings. He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard and retired from General Electric in St. Petersburg, Florida after more than 30 years of service as an electrician. He is survived by two daughters, Wanda, Dayna (Marshall) and a son, Barry (Mar Lou), 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, David, a granddaughter, Nellie and a great granddaughter, Elizabeth. Graveside services were conducted Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Overbrook Cemetery with Reverend Brenson Jennings officiating.
