Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Mr. Howell was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County and was a roofer. He was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Mary Helen Newsome and husband, Randy, Wrens; sons, Commodore Dewey Howell, Jr., Christopher Howell both of Dearing; daughters, Catherine Dianne Reeves, Harlem, Katie Lynn Howell, Dearing; brothers, Wayne Howell, Wrens, Victor Howell, James Howell and wife, Nicky; sister, Penny Chaney all of Dearing; grandchildren, Riley Kain Howell and Peyten R.
