Dennis Lee Barnes Sr.

Mr. Dennis Lee Barnes, Sr., 58 of Cobbham Road, Appling, GA passed away at his residence on August 17, 2022.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date by his family.

Dennis was a truck driver and mechanic by trade, but enjoyed construction work, gardening and fishing.  He moved to this area around 2 years ago coming from Portsmouth, Virginia where he worked in the shipyards.

He is predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Deloris Barnes; and survived by his companion, Joann Inglett; sons, Dennis Barnes Jr., Greenwood, SC, Michael Barnes, Pennsylvania; daughters, Angie King, Sarasota, Florida, Kristen Barnes, Pennsylvania; brothers, Daniel Barnes, Washington State, J.B. Barnes, Ohio; sister, Susie Clark, Statesboro, GA and seven grandchildren.
