Delilah "Ruth" Brown Freeman

Dearing, GA - Mrs. Delilah Ruth Freeman, 81, entered into rest December 21, 2019.

Mrs. Freeman was born in Anniston, AL, the daughter of the late Claude Brown and the late Nora Willingham Brown.  She retired as a Supervisor for Lamar Manufacturing after 40+ years of service.  Mrs. Brown enjoyed sewing, cooking, and traveling.  She was a member of Crumley's Church of God in Heflin, AL.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Freeman was predeceased by her son, Terry Wayne Britt.

Survivors include her sons, Dennis Britt of Waynesboro, GA and Jason Webb (Angie) of Dearing, GA; sister, Lois Cheekwood of Wedowee, AL; grandchildren, Dana Britt, Taelor Newsome, and Sarah Ann Newsome; and great grandchildren, Blake Lindsey, Jr. and Kirsten Lindsey.

A memorial service will be held in Alabama at a later date.
