Thomson, Georgia - Mrs. Debra Ann Widener Wallace, 63, entered into rest February 23, 2016.

Mrs. Wallace was a native of McDuffie County, GA. She was retired from the McDuffie County Board of Education as the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendant for many years. Mrs. Wallace was also a member of Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Wallace was predeceased by her father, Herbert Lane Widener, Sr. and brother, Steve Widener.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Terry Wallace; mother, Maye McCullough (Jim) of Melbourne, FL; sons, Brad Wallace (Dawn) of St. Augustine, FL, Dustin Wallace (Michele) of Smyrna, GA; daughter, Carrie Bennett (Brian) of Tullahoma, TN; brothers, Herbert Lane Widener, Jr. and Skipper Widener both of Thomson, GA; sister, Pam Evans of Melbourne, FL and grandchildren, Ella Gracin Bennett, Luci Pace Wallace, Brooks Bennett, Shiloh Wallace, Dillon Bennett, Suzanna Wallace and Judah Wallace.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock, a.m., Friday, February 26, 2016 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Dr. Don Widener officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge.
