Mrs. Debbie Usry Smith, 62, Mitchell, Georgia, entered into rest on August 19, 2021.

Mrs. Smith was born in Augusta County, Georgia on January 31, 1959, grew up in Gibson and Mitchell, Georgia area.  She was the daughter of Jeanette Masters Usry and the late James Usry.  Debbie was a homemaker for her family, was Baptist by faith and a member of Millcreek Baptist Church.  She loved flowers, loved going to the beach and picking up seashells, loved her family and friends and especially loved her grandchildren..

Mrs. Debbie Smith was preceded in death by her father, James Usry and her sister, Diane Thompson.  Her survivors include her husband of 42 years, Thomas Smith; her mother Jeanette Masters Usry;  her sons, Michael Washam of Augusta, Josh Smith (Shana) of Thomson; her daughter, Amanda Smith Wheeler (Roy) of Mitchell; her Brother, Randy Usry (Missy) of Augusta;  her grandchildren, Blake Washam, Brandon Washam, Tristan Smith, Bryce Wheeler, Buck Wheeler, Aaron Smith and Kolden Smith; and her nieces, Jessica Thompson and Stephanie Johnson (Matthew).

Friends may call upon the family at 636 Calhoun Street, Gibson, Georgia or at Beggs Funeral Home on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.  A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia at 3:00 p.m.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
