Harlem, GA- Mr. David Arthur Watkins, Sr., 54, entered into rest April 20, 2018 at Doctor's Hospital.

David was born in Savannah, GA, grew up in Harlem, and graduated from Harlem High School 1982. He worked as a route representative for many years with ALSCO and G&K. David was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church. He was a NASCAR Jimmy Johnson Fan, a Georgia Tech Fan and he loved watching hockey.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Missy Watkins; father, Arthur Don Watkins; son, David Arthur Watkins, Jr.; daughters, Denise Renee Watkins, Elysse Jane Watkins; step sons, Robert Allen Burkey (Aprill), Michael Scott Bray (Melissa); brothers, Wayne Fountain, Steve Fountain, Ronnie Watkins; sisters, Sharon Stange and Wanda Watkins; grandchildren, Joshua Burkey, Jayden Burkey, Logan Burkey and Katherine Marks.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Bradford officiating. Interment will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
