Thomson, Georgia-Mr. David Leo Pitstick, 82, entered into rest September 27, 2017.

Mr. Pitstick was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of the late Leo Charles Pitstick and the late Amanda Scott Pitstick, but was a long-time resident of Thomson, GA.  He graduated from Jefferson High School and retired after 30 years from National Building Systems as plant manager.  Mr. Pitstick attended Thomson First United Methodist Church.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Pitstick was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred "Millie" Pitstick.

Survivors include his son, Michael Pitstick (Beverly) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughters, Katharine DeMars of Wichita Falls, TX, Lora Hadden (Tony) and, Mary Kate Johnson all of Thomson, GA; sister, Charlotte Yost of Belleville, IL; niece, Brenda Finch of Newburgh, IN, grandchildren Crystal Rabun (Dewayne), Ashley Lucas, and Ken Hadden; and great grandchildren, Macie Anne Rabun, Mallory Rabun, and Haley Gunby.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronny Brannen officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
