David Wayne Frantz, 78, Warrenton, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on October 9, 2024.

David was born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania on April 23, 1946, grew up in Pleasant Gap, PA and settled in the Warren County area in 2000.  David served his Country in the U.S. Airforce during the Vietnam War.  He retired from the foundry industry in which he worked for 45 years and was a master tool and die engineer.  He was a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church.  He enjoyed flying his own single engine plane as well as rebuilding his 1934 Pietenpol Open Cockpit Plane.  He favored old vehicles like his 1940 Cadillac Lasalle and two British Morris Minors "Granny and Olive" and loved spending time with his family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Frantz and Eva Iannotti Frantz. His survivors include his wife of 26 years, Sharon Peschmann-Frantz; his daughter, Angela Hamiliton (Sonny); his son, Andrew Frantz (Liz); his grandchildren, Madisyn Frantz and Mason Frantz;  his sister, Jeanne Stewart (Warren); his brother, John Frantz (Maria); additional family, Sara Alexander (David); Scott Peschmann; Brooke Heine & children; grandchildren, Grace, Nathan and Nicholas and other extended family.

A Memorial Service will be on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia with Rev. Ray Whiting officiating and the family receiving friends following the service.  His interment will be in the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003, on October 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
