Mr. Annis was a native of McDuffie County, GA and served in the U. S. Army. He was a painter and Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his mother, Lucy J. Annis; father, John P. Annis; son, David Annis, Jr; daughter, Misty Annis; brothers, John Annis, Jr, Danny Annis, Kenny Annis, William " Billy" Annis, Charles Allen Annis; sisters, Kathy Wade, Donna J. Annis and 8 grandchildren. Mr. Annis was preceded in death by a sister, Laura A. Bohler.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday July 1, 2011 at the residence of Danny and Betty Annis 3092 Ridge Rd. Thomson, GA.
