Thomson, Georgia- Mr. Darry Dean Daniel, 68, entered into rest December 28, 2017.

Mr. Daniel grew up in Jefferson County, Georgia and was the son of the late Marvin Hester Daniel, Sr. and the late Lurlean Kent Daniel. He was a 1967 graduate of Wrens High School and a retired Construction Superintendent. Mr. Daniel lived most of his life in McDuffie County, Georgia, loved golf and woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Roy Daniel, Tommie Daniel and Terry Daniel; and his sister, Margaret Williams.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Linda Reese Daniel; daughters, Krista Daniel Matthews (Wade) and Dena Daniel of Thomson, GA; brother, Marvin H. Daniel, Jr. of Thomson, GA; sisters Eulawynne Kitchens of Gibson, GA, Janice Philippe of Michigan, and Wynelle Lewis of Wrens, GA; grandchildren, Daniel Cushman, Katelyn Matthews, Ashleigh Cushman, Jackson Matthews, Emily Cushman, and Abbi Daniel; and great grandchild, Ryley Cushman.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Richardson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
