Danny B Banks

Mr. Danny Burton Banks, 64 of Washington Hwy. entered into rest on Thursday, December 19th at University Hospital, Augusta.

Mr. Banks, son of the late Rennie B. Banks and Fannie Ruth Goldman Crook, was a native of McCormick, had lived in Raleigh, NC and worked for the NC DOT as a truck mechanic before returning to Lincolnton. He had worked for Norman's Wrecking in most recent years. He was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Banks and step- father, William Crook.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, and sports especially Lincoln County Red Devils football, Georgia Bulldogs, and the Atlanta Braves.

Sister: Amanda Banks Gibson and husband, Anthony of Augusta

5 nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 22th at 2:30 p.m.. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
