Daniel "Danny" Thomas Turner

Daniel Thomas "Danny" Turner, 36 of Paradise St., Lincolnton, Ga. entered into rest on Saturday, January 2, 2021.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1 pm at Faith Community Church.

Danny was born outside of Athens, Greece October 17, 1984. He grew up in Lincoln County and during his teenage years at Lincoln County High School, he was a member of and enjoyed being a part of the Debate and Drama Teams including the production of "The Wizard of Oz." He graduated from high school in 2002. Shortly thereafter, he moved to and worked at the Nantahala Outdoor Center in N.C. for about 12 years.

He had five passions in his life, cooking, movies, music, his nieces, nephews and Nantahala, NC.  You could quiz him on movies and music and most of the time he could pop the answer right and then would google it just to show you he was correct.   .

Danny is preceded in death by his father Earnest "TEE" Turner, MGP James & Bobbie Scroggins, PGP Eston & Edna Turner.

Survivors include his mother, Terrie Turner; brothers, James "Jason" Turner and wife Jana, Christopher Turner and wife Kimberly; nieces and nephews, Daisy, Magnolia, Logan, Morgan and James; also way too many aunts, uncles and cousins to name.  Danny is preceded in death by his father, Earnest "TEE" Turner, maternal grandparents, James & Bobbie Scroggins, paternal grandparents, Eston & Edna Turner.
