Thomson, Georgia - Mr. Daniel Lee Stayner, 69, entered into rest April 4, 2016.
Mr. Stayner was born in Coldwater, Michigan to the late Lewis Stayner and Gertrude Lawton Stayner. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was retired from Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital where he worked as a Resident Care Aide. He served as ministerial servant and elder at the Coldwater Congregation of Jehovah's Witness in Coldwater, Michigan and his favorite hobby was spending time with his family, children and grandchildren. In addition to his father, Mr. Stayner was predeceased by his daughter, Betty Jo Losinski; and his sister, Sandra Jackman.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Teddie Dee Minniear Stayner; three sons, Dennis Clark Stayner (Mary) of Coldwater, Michigan, Daniel Lewis Stayner of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Jason Stayner of Bronson, Michigan; two daughters, Lori Stayner of Athens, Michigan and Jeri Stauffer (James) of Thomson, Georgia; his mother, Gertrude Stayner of Coldwater Michigan; three brothers, David Stayner of Battle Creek, Michigan, William Stayner of Coldwater, Michigan, and Timothy Stayner of Auburn, Michigan; 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm, April 30 th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Coldwater, Michigan with Gayle Streeter officiating.
Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge.
